Cheryl is a stamper, an art journalist, a quilter and a mixed media artist. She loves to reuse and recycle supplies. She is currently obsessed with Art Journaling and would love to pass on some of the unusual and unique techniques she’s created and perfected.
She’s been teaching rubber stamping and mixed media art classes at conventions and stamp stores for more than fifteen years, starting at the Stamp Your Art Out store in Cincinnati in 2005. Cheryl’s work has been published in several magazines including Green Craft, Sommerset Studio and Rubber Stamp magazine.
Cheryl is excited to teach again at StampAway. She’s hoping to see some of her students from previous years and meet folks that are new to the artform. This year she will share her knowledge on gel plate image transfer and the creation and use of background papers made from magazines using acrylic paints and stencils.
