Sunsets & Scene Building, Friday 2:30-4:30p
Sunsets & Scene Building
When: Friday, August 9, 2:30p - 4:30a
Instructor: Tonya Weakley
This is an intermediate-level technique class focusing on ink manipulation. Participants must be familiar with masking before taking this class. Masking will be used to create a mountain scene, as well as coloring it. Stylus handles, blending tips, and ink pads will be used to add the color. You will use the “dragging” technique to manipulate your inks, layering and blending them. You will first practice this technique on a tag before moving on to your card. Your class kit will include the papers for you to assemble your card, but you may or may not have time for this in class; therefore, adhesive is optional.
Bring: two or three ColorBox Stylus handles with six white oval foam blending tips (blending tips must be new/uncontaminated), detail scissors, and 4″ x 6″ acrylic block with Tack ‘N Peel on one side (if you are attending with a friend, you may bring one block per two people, but you will each need your own stylus handles, blending tips, and scissors). Optional: white gel pen (fine or medium tip) and adhesive.
PLEASE NOTE: There are no refunds for classes once they have been purchased.
