Secrets to Successful Scenic Stamping
When: Thursday, August 6, 11:30a - 1:30p
Instructor: Tonya Weakley
This class begins by exploring the tools, paper, and ink that is used in scenic stamping. The various ways of using unmounted rubber, including stamping platforms, will also be discussed. The class includes tips on planning your scenes, what to stamp first, composition, perspective, and more. This is an art class for beginners and will include a booklet of information for you to take home and refer to in the future. While this is not a traditional workshop, you will cut a couple of masks, and construct a black and white scene which you can color and mount onto a card later.
Bring: detail scissors, and pen for any notes you wish to take.
