Junk Journals, Wednesday 5:30-7:30p
When: Wednesday, August 7, 5:30p - 7:30p
Instructor: Cyndi Duncan
Level: Beginner / Intermediate
Turn your trash into treasure by creating beautiful junk journals from your scraps. In this class, students will create a book signature from discarded paper items (junk mail, catalogs, scrapbook paper scraps, envelopes, etc.). You will learn about the dynamics of this rapidly growing art form while discovering how to create flips, tucks, belly bands, pockets, and more! Students will bind their book signature into a cardstock cover using a simple pamphlet stitch. Your book will be ready for you to journal in, or to use as a planner or small album.
Bring: basic stamping kit.
Optional: paper trimmer and decorative paper (larger scraps are fine).
