Introduction to Masking & Scene Building, Thursday 5:30-8:00p
Introduction to Masking & Scene Building
When: Thursday, August 8, 5:30p - 8:00p
Instructor: Tonya Weakley
This is a technique-intensive class for those who have never done masking and scene building. Several individual images will be used to create the larger scene in black and white. You will learn how to properly cut and position your masks and when to mask. You will then move on to ink manipulation, and using the same card, learn the techniques necessary to add color using ink pads. At the end of class, you will have one color scene. Tips on perspective, inks, papers, and tools will be included. Your class kit will include detailed, illustrated instructions, as well as the papers for you to assemble your card. (Note that you may not have time for card assembly in class; therefore, adhesive is optional.) You will take home one stamp as our gift to you!
Bring: two ColorBox Stylus handles with five white oval foam blending tips, adhesive, and 4″ x 6″ acrylic block with Tack ‘n Peel on one side (if you are attending with a friend, you may bring one block per two people, but you will each need your own stylus handles and blending tips).
PLEASE NOTE: There are no refunds for classes once they have been purchased.
