Anne Marie Fowler
Anne Marie married an Iowa farm boy who is a retired military man and who now works in the aerospace industry. Four children expanded their household throughout the years. Two of their children have given them grandchildren--five grendkids in total!
Besides being a designer and a co-owner of an online art workshop business, Anne Marie is also a college professor who teaches in the English and Humanities departments. She teaches research, creative writing, and literature, as well as mythology (which she really loves).
Anne Marie considers herself a generalist but leans toward mixed media and acrylic painting, and loves to create art that has some Asian component to it, whether by image or by color and design. She love using stamps because they are so versatile. While they typically are used to make cards, she like to see how far she can push stamp usage in other mediums.
From Anne Marie: Embrace your differences, especially in art-making. Make mistakes. It's the best way to learn. Appreciate the pieces you make that you don't really love. They are inanimate teachers.
