When you use Gel Prints, each piece is unique. No two will ever be the same. This is a technique that requires the artist to be fluid and flexible in their expectations. There are oodles of techniques you can use, each giving you different results. In this class, we will explore the basics. You will make a variety of backgrounds using various techniques, and then we will help you turn one of those into a finished card. Your results WILL BE different than the samples shown! You will e using images from our Utopia World fantasy collection, a gel plate, brayer and a variety of other products.

Bring: Participants must bring an onyx black VersaFine pad (the small cube is plenty), as well as some acrylic blocks, adhesive, a glitter pen (we recommend Sakura Gelly Roll), two dye ink pads from the same or complimentary color family (i.e. 2 blues, 2 greens, etc), baby wipes and a couple of blending or stipple brushes. If you choose to bring a platform, I recommend that you ALSO bring at least one medium size acrylic block. We will provide acrylic paints, but if there is a color group you prefer, bring your paints as well. You will be offered a limited color palette that will be shared with your group. Any crafters acrylic paint should work. Optional: acrylic paint pens and gel pens can be used to boost or add color.

Due to concerns with the delivery rate of the USPS, please place online orders before Friday July 21, 2023 in order to help ensure that your tickets and merchandise are delivered before the show. Any online purchases made after Friday July 21, 2023 will be waiting for you at Stampaway at the Headquarters Room in Will Call. If you made a purchase and your tickets do not arrive in time, no worries - we will have duplicates waiting for you at the Headquarters Room in Will Call.

The last day for online ticket sales is Friday July 28, 2023 

While at Stampaway, you will be able to purchase tickets for any classes with seats available. This is also in the Headquarters Room - look for the OPEN CLASSES table.
