Eye-Popping Blocks of Color, Wednesday 5:30-7:30p
Eye-Popping Blocks of Color
When: Wednesday, August 7, 5:30p - 7:30p
Instructor: Judi Watanabe
Color, texture, and layers (transparent and opaque) will be used to create eye-popping works that are fun to make and share. In this class, you will experiment with inks and paper, as well as learn techniques for composition, masking, and color selection. Most importantly, you’ll learn what to do if you make a little mistake. Class cards will be similar to (but not exactly the same as) the samples shown. Technique will be the focus, and participants will create pieces they are sure to love.
Bring: heat tool, rubber brayer, and paper cutter.
