50 Shades of Gray: Explorations of India Ink
When: Wednesday, August 8, 2:30p - 5:30p
Instructor: Cyndi Duncan
Level: Beginner / Intermediate
India ink is a wonderfully versatile product that many artists have never fully explored. In this workshop, students will explore mark making using black India ink with numerous tools, techniques, and agents. Students will also be working with Yupo paper, a unique painting surface that yields amazing results when combined with the ink. Students will leave with numerous ATC-sized cards that will showcase their creative side. (Note: We will be using highly diluted ammonia. Please take this into consideration if you are sensitive to smells.)
Bring: your favorite rubber stamps and stencils, texture making tools, calligraphy fountain pen, and paper trimmer.
